Dancer  |  Actor

Lauren Davis is a dancer, actor, dance and Pilates instructor with her BFA in Commercial Dance from Hussian College Los Angeles: In Studio. She graduated summa cum laude as a member of the 21 club, the top 21 students in her graduating class. Lauren’s dance training began at age 5 to bring her out of her shell, and ever since latching onto dance, she hasn’t stopped for over two decades. Lauren received countless awards and scholarships in ballet and the competition/convention realms growing up, as she trained intensely at both ballet and competition studios under The School of American Ballet's Geralyn del Corso Garner, "Ms. Acro" Alex Patrick, Tiger Friday's Bree Hafen, and more. She’s trained in ballet, hip hop, jazz funk, jazz, pom, acro, heels, contemporary, lyrical, ballroom, tap, and even dabbled in cultural dances like hula, Bollywood, and African.

Traveling nationally and internationally, Lauren attended ABT's summer intensive, Joffrey NY (Ballet), Joffrey Southwest (Jazz/Contemp), Burklyn Ballet Theatre (scholarship), Alonzo King LINES Discovery Project, and the Glenda Brown Choreography Project (scholarship). She performed in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, the largest arts festival in the world, as the Mad Hatter and White Rabbit in Burklyn Ballet Theatre’s production of Alice in Wonderland.

Lauren values versatility as an artist and could never choose a favorite genre of dance, so she was drawn to Hussian College LA’s (formerly Relativity/Studio School) Commercial Dance program in Los Angeles. She attended Hussian on scholarship to avoid being limited to one style of dance for her degree, as is usually the case for collegiate dance programs. There she trained under former and current Broadway, ballet, and commercial dance professionals such as resident SYTYCD choreographer Joe Brown, Ambrose Respicio III – Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, and Taylor Swift dancer, former ABT dancer Michelle Loucadoux, Gus Giordano dancer Matthew Shaffer, Marvin Browning Jr., James Tabeek, and more. While in school, Lauren performed in and choreographed for numerous collegiate live and film productions, in addition to studying acting for film and television. She was in the top two in the nation to star in the “Friday the 13th” fan film, “Rose Blood,” with her late acting coach and television star, Lar Park Lincoln.

Lauren's professional credits include commercials for Choctaw Casinos & Resorts and Apple Inc., modeling for CBS’s “Star Trek Discovery” and The Costume Closet, Mary Kay Summer Seminar 2024, LA Dance Fest, Dallas Zoo Lights, TEDx, XO Date Night, and more. Lauren danced and contorted in the 2021-2024 State Fair of Texas’ “Illumination Sensation,” serving as dance captain since 2022. She served two seasons as an IFL Frisco Fighters Bombshells cheerleader, and was a main company member of Urban Performing Company for Stevo McMaryion. Lauren has performed professionally in nearly every genre of dance, accomplishing one of her biggest life goals.

Lauren has always had a love for children, and takes her role as an educator seriously. She uses her experiences from her professional work in LA and DFW in her classroom to benefit her youth and adult students’ education. Continuing to train/perform while teaching gives Lauren a unique perspective as a current industry professional and mentor. In 2025, she chose to further her education by earning her Fletcher Pilates matwork certification, which she now teaches to both dancers and nondancers of all ages. Her knowledge of the body from dance, weightlifting, Pilates, and physical therapy translates into her classes. She educates her dancers on the importance of and balance between strength and flexibility as an athlete, while using her nurturing nature to cultivate artists in the safe space she creates for all. Lauren is represented by Exxcel Model and Talent. Currently, Lauren teaches dance and Pilates in DFW, specializing in all things technique and jazz funk, judges dance competitions, and will be performing her 5th year in the State Fair of TX this fall.
