Lauren Davis is a native Texan with her BFA in Commercial Dance from Hussian College Los Angeles: In Studio. She’s trained in ballet, hip hop, jazz funk, acro, jazz, pom, heels, contemporary, lyrical, ballroom, and tap. She attended summer intensives such as ABT, Joffrey NY and Southwest, Burklyn Ballet Theatre (scholarship), and the Glenda Brown Choreography Project (scholarship) as a choreographer, and performed in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, the largest arts festival in the world. In college, she had the privilege of training with Ambrose Respicio III – Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, and Taylor Swift dancer, SYTYCD choreographer Joe Brown, Leslie Stevens, Jonette Swider, Michelle Loucadoux, Matthew Shaffer, James Tabeek, Marvin Browning Jr., and more. Her professional credits include Choctaw Casinos & Resorts, Apple Inc., CBS’s “Star Trek Discovery,” Mary Kay Summer Seminar, LA Dance Fest, Dallas Zoo Lights, TEDx, and countless guest artist appearances in DFW. She served two seasons as an IFL Frisco Fighters Bombshells dancer, and was a main company member for Urban Performing Company. Currently, Lauren is the dance captain for the State Fair of Texas’ “Illumination Sensation" (2021-2024), and will be performing in the 2025 State Fair. She is represented by Exxcel Model and Talent, and earned her Fletcher Pilates certification. Lauren teaches dance and Pilates in DFW, specializing in all things technique and jazz funk. Using her knowledge of the body from dance, Pilates, weightlifting, and physical therapy, she educates dancers on the importance of and balance between strength and flexibility as an athlete, while continuing her career as a freelance artist.
